Restoring Life Work Program

The Restoring Life Work Program began in response to the growing concern of unemployment and under-employment in the south suburbs of Chicago. This special program works to address this concern from all sides, by partnering with both job seekers and employers for a holistic approach to employment.

Job Readiness Classes

Restoring Life staff and volunteers lead a four-session class for job seekers, utilizing a developed WorkLife curriculum. Students gain expertise in job skills such as interviewing and creating a resume, professional culture, conflict and communication resolution and more!

For more information on how to apply to join the class, as well as dates, location and curriculum, click the button below.

Work Force Development

Restoring Life staff and volunteers develop partnerships with local employers in a variety of industries with the goal of adding employees to the work force. Businesses and organizations partner with us to recruit, interview and employee our graduates and participants.

BETTER TOGETHER JOB FAIR

In summer of 2024, Restoring Life will host an area job fair for the Chicago Heights and South Holland communities. Expect more than 25 local employers to attend, as well as trainers to help with free training sessions on resume building and interview skills.
